Everybody has different talents.  A talent is a theme of recurring pattern of thoughts, feelings or behaviours which come to a person naturally.  Talents influence our choices and our actions. They explain why we are better at some things than others. Talents are a key source of our potential because when they intentionally exercised, or ‘flexed’ they become our strengths.

Gallup is a world leading research and consulting company which has studied human behaviour, leadership and organisational performance for over half a century.  Gallup’s research based on millions of interviews and decades of research has proven that people are most successful when they are aware of their own strengths, those of others and know how to work with them.

I work with the Gallup ‘CliftonStrengths’ approach.  The first step is a comprehensive on-line assessment tool which measures your natural patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving, so when you are done you'll have discovered your talents.   You’ll receive a personalised report with insights about how they appear in your life.  The pinpoint accuracy will be surprising, leaving you inspired and empowered with a newfound self-awareness.  You will find out how you learn and work with information, how you develop relationship with others, what your drivers are; what motivates you to action and what impact and influence you have on others. 

 

The StrengthsFinder report is only the starting point.  The next stage is a coaching conversation to help you fully understand your strengths profile and to appreciate the dominant themes and unique talents.  We will explore how you accomplish tasks, reaches desired goals, builds relationships and works with others.  Then we will begin to develop strengths, by creating a plan which will help you to purposefully invest in your talents so that you are better equipped to accomplish your goals and desired outcomes and respond to everyday situations.
