PERFORMANCE COACHING

I apply strengths-based development approach to increase self-awareness and facilitate growth.  I help people connect with their potential, achieve greater performance, productivity and well-being.  Together we can address specific goals and challenges, such as performance, communication, conflict or problem-solving.

Through coaching conversations, I help my clients to understand their strengths and how to use them to produce results, reach their goals and perform at a much higher level.  This approach can be used to achieve many different goals, such as building better relationships or responding more effectively to a challenge.

Conventional coaching conversations focus on fixing weaknesses by identifying an area for improvement and developing an improvement plan.  Unfortunately, this approach often leaves individuals struggling on the path to mediocrity.  The greatest potential for growth and success comes from helping people discover and develop their most dominant talents. Adopting a strengths-based approach to development does not mean a person can ignore their weaknesses.  We can develop many strategies for managing around your weaknesses, while building areas of excellence by focusing on your greatest strengths.  By being true to the thoughts, feelings, behaviours that come naturally, there is a much higher chance of consistent, high performance.
